Creating Your Account

Sign up for Lead to Sheet and set up your account in under 2 minutes.

Sign up with Google

Lead to Sheet uses your Google account for sign-up. This is the quickest way to get started and automatically connects your Google Drive so we can create your spreadsheet.

    Go to the sign-up page

    Visit leadtosheet.com and click the "Start free trial" button in the top right corner.

    Sign in with Google

    Click "Continue with Google" and select the Google account you'd like to use. This should be the account where you want your Google Sheet to live.

    Approve permissions

    Lead to Sheet will ask for permission to create files in your Google Drive. We only access files that Lead to Sheet creates — we never read or modify your other Drive files.

Tip

Use a Google account that your team can access. If you use a personal account, you can always share the spreadsheet with teammates later.

Complete your business information

After signing in, you'll be asked to provide some basic details about your business. This helps us set up your account correctly.

    Enter your business name

    This is used to name your Google Sheet and Drive folder. For example, entering "Acme Corp" creates a sheet called "Acme Corp - Form Submissions".

    Enter your website URL

    Enter the website where your forms live (e.g., https://www.example.com). This is used to verify that form submissions are coming from your site.

    Add contact details (optional)

    You can optionally add a contact name and email. These are used for account communications.

Note

Once you submit your business information, Lead to Sheet automatically creates a Google Sheet and a dedicated folder in your Google Drive. Your 14-day free trial also starts at this point.

What happens next

After completing your business information, Lead to Sheet sets up everything behind the scenes:

  • A "Lead to Sheet" folder is created in your Google Drive
  • A subfolder named "Form Sync – [Your Business Name]" is created inside it
  • A Google Sheet is created to receive your form submissions
  • A unique tracking snippet is generated for your website
  • Your 14-day free trial begins

You'll then be taken to the snippet installation step, where you can copy the code and add it to your website.
