Connecting Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
Use a Kit v3 API key to subscribe leads to a form or sequence and apply tags.
Find the right API key
Kit exposes a V3 API Key and a private API Secret. LeadToSheet only needs the V3 API Key for new connections.

Open Kit
Sign in at app.kit.com, or convertkit.com if your account still uses the old domain.

Open Account Settings -> Advanced
Click your name in the top-right, choose Account Settings, then open the Advanced tab.

Copy the V3 API Key
Copy the V3 API Key from the API section and paste it into LeadToSheet.
Tip
Use the V3 API Key, not the V4 App Store key.
Pick a form or sequence
After the key is saved, LeadToSheet loads your Kit forms, sequences, and tags. Pick either a Form or a Sequence as the subscription target.
- Forms are best for newsletter-style opt-ins.
- Sequences start an email funnel when the lead arrives.
- Tags are optional and are applied from the tags visible to the API key.
