Using Google Sheets as a Destination
Keep sending leads to the connected Google Sheet through LeadToSheet's default site-level sync.
How it works
Google Sheets is the default LeadToSheet destination. Each captured lead is appended as a new row in the connected sheet for that site.
- The destination uses your existing Google connection. There is no separate per-route API key to paste.
- Rows use the same Sheets writer as the normal sync job, so form fields, attribution, browser data, and enrichment columns stay consistent.
- Route tests do not append fake rows to your sheet; real submissions do.
Note
For sheet layout, sharing, retry, and troubleshooting details, use the Google Sheets help category.
Where to manage it
Google Sheets is not shown in the route builder because it is already the primary sync path for the site. Use Site settings to connect or update the sheet, then use routes only for add-on destinations like CRMs, email, chat alerts, or webhooks.
